THOMASVILLE — A South Georgia Charter School will have funds to implement new learning models.

The Bishop Hall Charter School, in Thomasville, was awarded a $958,000 grant to implement a blended learning program model designed to help high risk students with online instructional supplements.

Student class work will be done under supervision at a specified location and to at home.

Education administrators are hoping to use the model learning program to help to increase their graduation rate and to offer students the option of taking college-level courses while in high school.
