PORT RICHEY, FL — Police reports state a body washed up behind a waterfront restaurant in Port Richey, Florida Sunday.

The body was spotted near dusk on Sunday behind Catches Waterfront Grille.  Police report the man, in his 70’s or 80’s, has not yet been identified.

Reports in the Tampa Bay Times stated the man was found wearing a wind breaker, pants and running shoes.  Police don’t, at this time, believe foul play was involved and instead believe the elderly man was running near the water and fell.  The report stated authorities didn’t know how long he had been in the water or dead, pending further investigation and autopsy.
