Cairo > Arrest Made in Saturday Shooting

CAIRO — There has been an arrest in the shooting which occurred Saturday in Cairo.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is reporting they have arrested Delaljujuan Duntray Jones, 28 of Havana, Florida, and charged him with one count of Capital Murder and three counts of Aggravated Assault.

He is being held at the Grady County Sheriff’s Office in Cairo.  He was not arrested, but turned himself in to authorities.

This is related to the shooting which occurred Saturday night near the Cairo Gas & Food Mart at 101 4th Street Southwest.  One of the shooting victims, Stanley Hill, 24 of Cairo, was pronounced dead shortly after he arrived at Grady General Hospital.

Kentrall Brown, 24 and Shontarious Brown, 25, both from Cairo, were also taken to Grady General Hospital.

The fourth victim Martarvione Moore, 20 of Cairo was airlifted to a Tallahassee hospital.
