What Happens when a Test Drive Never Ends?

| December 21, 2014

VALDOSTA — If you have visited a dealership to purchase a car, you understand that a test drive is offered to try out the car.  However, you are expected to return it after the “test”.  A Valdosta teen decided he’d just keep the car and its landed him in jail.

Brandon Delk, 17 of Valdosta, is now in trouble with the law because he failed to return the Nissan Maxima he was testing to the car dealership.

Officials took him into custody at an Ashley Street Motel where the car was discovered. Before you think it was a mistake, think again.  Delk is also charged with a break-in at a Marion Street apartment earlier this month including theft of $110.

The car has been returned.
