Barrington Mickens of Thomasville was arrested and jailed on the charge of breaking into an auto. Police were able to capture him after finding his phone inside the victim’s vehicle.

Speeds during a high speed chase in Thomas County reached 130 miles per hour as officials attempted to capture Frederick Bush. The chase led officers into Florida where they were assisted by authorities from Jefferson County. Bush was taken into custody and faces multiple charges including aggravated assault and DUI.  Jefferson County authorities released Bush on Bond but bond was denied in Thomas County and Bush remained in jail at last report.
