Shaw to Discuss 2015 Georgia Legistlative Session

VALDOSTA — Georgia State Representative Jason Shaw will be offering his thoughts and ideas on several topics including the upcoming legislative session beginning shortly after the holidays.  He will be speaking at the Young Republican meeting Tuesday.

Shaw has represented Georgia House District 176 (Atkinson, Lanier, Lowndes and Ware counties) since his election in 2010 and re-election in 2012. Shaw serves as chairman of the Georgia Legislative Rural Caucus, a bipartisan group that takes a leading role on issues and legislation that impact agriculture, natural resources and the needs of the state’s rural communities. He also serves as vice chairman of the House Insurance Committee and as a member of the House Economic Development & Tourism Committee; House Game, Fish & Parks Committee; and House Small Business Development Committee

The meeting is free open to the public.  The South Georgia Young Republicans meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month at Valdosta Country Club from 7-8pm to discuss issues relevant to the 18-40 age demographic. The meeting is preceded by a social hour from 6-7.

    What’s he pushing this time? A bill to allow deer hunting all year long in the Southern Zone to protect his precious olive groves? He and Amy Carter will NEVER get my vote again because of the baiting law that they pushed through. He should be removed from office for using his position to benefit his personal business. Jason Shaw, please remember, we hunters haven’t forgotten who was behind that bill.
