Glasco Earns Academic All-Region Honors

VALDOSTA Valdosta State senior offensive tackle Colin Glasco has been voted to the Capital One Academic All-Region team, as voted on by Sports Information Directors from the South Region’s schools.

Glasco has started all eight VSU games this year and has graded out at 88.2 percent on the 595 plays he has been involved with. He has also recorded eight knockdown blocks on the season.

Additionally, Glasco holds a 3.50 grade point average as a Computer Science major.

In order to be considered for the Capital One Academic All-Region team, a student-athlete must possess a 3.30 grade point average, be a sophomore academically, been in residence at his current institution for at least a year and play an integral part for his team on the football field. By earning All-Region accolades, Glasco now advances to the Academic All-America ballot.
