Child Advocate Director Indicted

ALBANY — The former CEO of a support services organization in Albany has been indicted for theft, forgery and conversion of the organization’s assets to personal use.

Cassandra Wright of Albany, was the CEO of the Albany-based Lilly Pad Center, which provided support services to more than 300 child victims and roughly 150 adults a year.  She was indicted by a Dougherty County grand jury for forgery and theft.

She has been charged with forging signatures of the Probate Court Judge and other Lilly Pad Board Members to steal funds and gift cards owned by the charity.  She then converted the assets for her own use.
