BARGE:  UPWARD TREND IN GRAD RATES  |  ATLANTA — Superintendent of Georgia School’s John Barge says that the upward trend in high school graduation rates is cause to celebrate. The numbers continue to increase for the third year in a row going up from 71.8% in 2013 to 72.5% in 2014 an increase of 5.1% since 2011.

EARLY VOTING ENDS  |  VALDOSTA — Early voting comes to an end today and all absentee ballots must be in by 7 p.m. November 4th. The Lowndes County Board of Elections is located at 2808 North Oak Street. According to records in the Secretary of State’s office 709,000 Georgians have cast early ballots.

WINNERSVILLE PARKING  |  VALDOSTA — Jennifer Steedly, Director of Public Relations for the Valdosta City School System announces that Valdosta State University will open the Oak Street parking deck for overflow after 3:00 pm on Friday, October 31st.

If you were not able to get a ticket to the game, you can watch live from home via live stream at www.valdostawildcats.com. Live streaming will begin around 7:15 pm and kick off will be at 8:00 pm at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium.
