TWO OF SIX SUSPECTS STILL AT LARGE  |  MOULTRIE — Police in Moultrie need your help in locating two suspects still at large.

The kidnapping and torture of a Moultrie man has law enforcement officials seeking the public’s assistance in locating Dontorius Wright and Ashley Clayton. They are two of six suspects charged with the assault on 37-year old Dana Martin. The other four of the men suspected of being involved in the incident are now in jail.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SUSPECT IN CUSTODY  |  VALDOSTA — Cellphone video helps law enforcement capture a domestic violence suspect at a highway roadblock.

While Stephanie Downs and her friend April Maples were returning home Brooks County from Valdosta they came upon a road block at Highway 133 and Troupville Road. They witnessed Timothy Grantham’s flight from the law and managed to capture some of his exploits on video via a cell phone.

Fleeing from a domestic dispute in Lowndes County, Grantham had taken his companion’s vehicle after assaulting her. The women congratulated the onsite law enforcement officers for the way they handled the situation and in capturing Grantham.
