Valdosta Child Found Dead

Valdosta-Police-Cars-4VALDOSTA — Valdosta Police report finding an unresponsive 14-month old child at a Hill Avenue apartment.

Monday morning the Valdosta Police Department responded to the report of an unresponsive child at 501-B E. Hill Avenue. Officers arrived and found that a 14-month old female had passed away. Detectives from the Valdosta Police Department Persons Crime Unit and Crime Scene Technicians from the Valdosta-Lowndes Regional Crime Laboratory responded to investigate.

An autopsy has been completed by the GBI on 14 month old, Adalin Bridges, but the cause of death has not been determined. The Medical Examiner is conducting further investigation into the case. The Valdosta Police Department continues to investigate the case and is working with the Medical Examiner and the District Attorney’s Office.
