McPherson Earns Win 200

maxresdefaultVALDOSTA — A hard fought 17-13 Homecoming win over Newton County on Friday night gave Lowndes High Football Head Coach Randy McPherson his 200th win.

With a record of 71-9 at Madison and 129-28 at Lowndes in his 19th year as a head coach, Coach McPherson is now 69th on the all time Georgia High School coaching list. He joins Milt Miller as the two Viking Head Coaches to record 200 wins in a career.

On Monday September 29, the Viking Touchdown Club will honor Coach McPherson and his staff in recognition of his 200th win. The event will take place in the Lowndes High Media Center beginning at 6:45 PM. All Viking fans are invited to attend.
