Decatur County Child Molestation Suspect Caught in Valdosta

jail-bars-arrestedVALDOSTA — The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office caught suspected child molester Christopher Conley Wednesday¬†afternoon around 1:30pm, in Valdosta.

WALB sources Decatur County Sheriff’s Lt. Walton, who says Decatur County sheriff’s officials were searching for a man charged with child molestation and three counts of child cruelty.

Christopher Conley was questioned by Decatur County investigators after DFACS received word of possible abuse.

Investigators thought Conley might have fled to Valdosta.
