VPD Search for Suspects Involved in Shooting at a Home

Valdosta-Police-Car-SideVALDOSTA, GA – The Valdosta Police Department is searching for suspects in a shooting that occurred Monday morning.

According to reports, a bullet was shot into a window of a home at 314 Rosedale Place just after 6:00 a.m. Monday morning. The victim told police they heard a knock on the back door, and when they looked out they saw three black men standing outside. One of the residents inside told officers that he was grazed by the bullet in the elbow.

Authorities are unsure as to what the intended target was or what may have led to the shooting. Police are still investigating the accuracy of the victim’s statements.
