VPD Search for Suspect in Early Morning Shooting

Valdosta-Police-Car-SideVALDOSTA, GA – The Valdosta Police Department is currently searching for the suspect in a shooting that occurred early this morning at Club Dreams.

According to the report, at approximately 1:55 am the Valdosta Police Department responded to Club Dreams, 2159 Bemiss Road, in reference to the report of gunshots being fired and persons injured. Officers arrived and were told that as people were exiting the club, a fight broke out in the parking lot, and at least one person pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots.

At least three people were struck as they were running from the scene, Felton Sampson, 29, of Valdosta, Antwan Wright, 22, of Valdosta, and Leshundra Hundley, 24, of Valdosta. All were struck in the leg area and were treated at SGMC. None of the injuries are considered life threatening. Detectives are actively investigating the incident.

    I swear, if it wasn’t for shootings, muggings, and murders…..this town would have nothing going for it. May as well move to Detroit.

    This type of thing is getting out of hand. It’s hard to tell though if the police are cracking down on the problems that have always existed here, or if the crimes are increasing. I think it’s a bit of both. Good luck VPD and take care of yourselves.
