VPD Investigate Ora Lee West Shooting

Valdosta-Police-Car-SideVALDOSTA, GA – The Valdosta Police Department is searching for the suspect in a late night shooting at Ora Lee West Housing Complex.

On Sunday night, at approximately 10:45 pm, Jimmy Brown, 24, of Valdosta,  was shot by an unknown offender.  Brown, who is not a resident of the Ora Lee West Housing Complex, was outside the complex which is located at 610 East Ann Street.  Valdosta Police Department Officers, Detectives, and Crime Laboratory Personnel responded to the scene.

Officers spoke with multiple people who may have witnessed the incident. Authorities believe the shooting either spawned from an argument or could possibly be gang related. Police have a description of the offender and have also collected evidence from the scene which is being reviewed and analyzed.

Brown is currently being treated for his injuries by medical personnel and is listed in critical condition.

    why is this not on national news? why arent crowds rioting and holding demonstrations? why is sharpton not on the scene? why is obama and holder not demanding a “swift and vigorous” prosecution? i am confused… some white person needs to be punished for this!
