| August 13, 2014

Learning-Tree-LEading-BusinessVALDOSTA, GA – The Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce congratulates Learning Tree Educational Resources, Leading Business of the Week!

Learning Tree Educational Resources has been Valdosta’s premium supplier of educational materials, supplies and equipment for more than 35 years. In addition to serving schools, the business also provides educational materials to home schoolers, churches, parents and other educational organizations. Through its catalog and website, Learning Tree has grown to supply resources for educators worldwide. Company President, Robin McGhin, says that Learning Tree is grateful for the opportunity to assist educators in promoting the intellectual, physical and spiritual growth of the world’s youth. “The children of today are our future and our most valuable asset,” said McGhin.

McGhin knows how important customer care is to clients. “We also strive to always provide quality personalized service,” said McGhin. “Our company is large enough to offer a wide selection of products but small enough to care about each and every customer.”

The Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce has also had an impact on Learning Tree’s 35-year success. According to McGhin, the Chamber provides a wide variety of networking and educational opportunities for local business people. In addition, its dedication to provide Valdosta with great shopping, good places to eat and a variety of entertainment options makes it easier for the business to attract teachers from the surrounding areas. “The Chamber also does a superb job of encouraging entrepreneurship and promoting Valdosta-Lowndes County as a great place to retire,” said McGhin. “It has fostered the growth of our community into a hub of South Georgia and North Florida as well as a great place to live, visit and do business.”

The Chamber would like to extend a special thank-you to New Hire Solutions, the official 2014 Sponsor of Leading Business of the Week.
