Freshman 101 at Brooks County High School

Brooks-County-LogoQUITMAN, GA – All incoming Freshmen in Brooks County are invited to attend Freshman 101 at Brooks County High School on Thursday, July 31st from 9 a.m. to noon. Participation is free. There will also be a Freshman Parent Night on Monday, August 4th from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Freshman 101 is an exciting orientation that provides endless opportunities for freshmen to learn various strategies that will enhance their success at Brooks County High School. Besides various team-building activities, students will get hands on experience in various workshops, learn about credits, scheduling, career planning, study skills and much more.

There will also be information about the Do’s and Don’ts of being a high school student, becoming familiar with class assignments and getting to know faculty and staff. Freshman 101 is conducted by certified, professional school staff who work to ensure that participants are ready for success at Brooks County High School.
