Cordele Man Found Shot in the Chest

According to WALB, Around 2:30 Tuesday morning police were called to a home in the 600 block of North Bay Street where a man was found with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Neighbors said they heard gunshots followed by a man screaming for help.

The victim managed to walk to the yard of a nearby home where someone called 911.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting, and the name and condition of the man has not been released.
