VSU Welcomes Bangladesh Delegation to Campus

VSU-Bangladesh-Delegation VALDOSTA, GA – Valdosta State University welcomed Dr. A. K. Azad Chowdhury, chairman (state minister) of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, and Dr. S. M. Nazrul Islam, vice chancellor of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, to campus May 2-5.

They discussed the formation of a partnership between their country and VSU, including graduate opportunities for Bangladeshi students.

On May 6, the delegates traveled to Atlanta to meet with representatives of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.

Dr. Mizanur Miah, head of VSU’s Department of Social Work, facilitated the delegation’s visit to the campus.
