VSU to Host Computing Camp for Elementary and Middle School Students

Computing-Adventures-Valdosta-State-UniversityVALDOSTA, GA – The Math and Computer Science Department at VSU is organizing computing summer camps for elementary and middle school students in June/July. In this year’s camps the campers will participate in the following activities:


Middle school camp for rising 6th-8th graders (June 23-27)
– Create Android apps using App Inventor
– Build and program the new Lego EV3 robots, a recently launched new generation robots.

Elementary school camp for rising 4th-6th graders (July 21-25)
– Create animations, games, and digital stories using Scratch
– Build and program the new Lego EV3​ robots, a recently launched new generation robots

The camp fees include lunches in the dining halls, snacks, and camp t-shirts.
