Texas Printing Company Soliciting Lowndes County School System Ads

| April 2, 2014

Lowndes-High-Sign-Bottom-2VALDOSTA, GA – An email was received yesterday at Valdosta Today from the Lowndes County School System claiming that a print advertising company in Texas has been soliciting local businesses for ads on behalf of the school system.

According to school officials, the school system nor their programs will benefit from this campaign, and the school system has requested that the company cease their activity. Below is the email received at Valdosta Today.

It has come to our attention that FMG Print Solutions of Fort Worth TX  is soliciting ads on the behalf of the Lowndes County School System for the purpose of printing football schedules.

This campaign was launched without the knowledge or consent of Lowndes County Schools, Lowndes High School or our athletic department.  The school nor the school programs will benefit from this campaign.

We have been in contact with the company and asked them to cease to no avail. Local vendors are advised to beware of this campaign and any solicitations for support of Lowndes County Schools that do not come directly from us.
