LOWNDES COUNTY, GA – Students from Pine Grove Elementary School’s archery team joined more than 900 students from the top archery teams in the state in Perry, Georgia on Tuesday, April 8th, 2014.  The State’s top archers from more than 44 elementary, middle and high schools convene in Perry at the Georgia National Fairgrounds for the national qualifying tournament each year.

First place winners from each Regional tournament automatically qualify to compete at the State level.  This was Pine Grove Elementary School’s first year competing.  As a team, they missed qualifying by a mere 150 points.  However, they did have four students who qualified as individuals to compete at State.
