Middle School Girls Benefit from Sister-to-Sister Summit

Sister-to-Sister-SummitVALDOSTA, GA – Lowndes Middle School students enjoyed the opportunities offered at the March Sister-to-Sister Summit held at Valdosta State University and sponsored by the American Association of University Women.

During the all day conference for the 76  girls from Coffee County Middle School, Brooks County Middle School,  Lowndes Middle School, Valwood, Newbern Middle School, Pine Grove Middle and Valdosta Middle,  workshops were held on Self-esteem, Building Relationships, Cyber Safety, and Red Alerts.

After a great motivational speech by an 11th grade Honors student from Highland Christian Academy, the girls participated in STEM activities. and took a tour of VSU.
