Wiregrass Cosmetic Esthetics Program Unveils New Clinic

Wiregrass-Georga-Tech-LogoVALDOSTA, GA – The Cosmetic Esthetics program at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College has recently moved into a new clinic location on the Valdosta Campus. The program will be hosting an open house on Monday, March 24th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The community is invited to stop by to see the newly renovated clinical area and classrooms, find out about the day and evening classes and the client services offered to the community. The open house will be held in the Cosmetic Esthetics Clinic located in Lowndes Hall on the first floor.

The Cosmetic Esthetic program is a technical certificate of credit designed to provide esthetics training for entry-level students. Completion of the program prepares students to sit for the Esthetics licensure examination given by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology and to work in a variety of professions that employ estheticians in beauty salons, spas, health clubs, cosmetics stores as well as plastic surgeons’ and dermatologists’’ offices. The program is currently offered in both day and evening formats.
