Brooks County Middle School ECHOES Farm Bureau Essay Winners

BCMS-Farm-Bureau-WinnersBROOKS COUNTY, GA – Brooks Co. Middle School ECHOES students participated in the 2014 Farm Bureau Middle School Essay Contest. This year’s topic was “My Plate is Georgia Grown.” 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students enrolled in the ECHOES after school program wrote an essay to submit for the contest. The winning essays were chosen and the students were presented with a certificate, a ribbon, and a check.

First place winner was Kamari Wilson, who received a check for $35, 2nd place winner was Hezekiah Thomas, who received a check for $25, and 3rd place winner was Shane Hill, who received a check for $15.

Brooks Co. Middle School students have participated in the Farm Bureau Essay Contest for the past 20 years.  Pictured is Brooks Co. Farm Bureau Women’s Committee Chair, Sandra McDonald.
