VPD Burglary Unit Obtains Warrants for Three Suspects

VPD-Burglary-WantedVALDOSTA, GA – The Valdosta Police Department Burglary Unit has obtained arrest warrants on the following people and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating them.

On February 19, 2014 an arrest warrant for Burglary was obtained for Houston Eugene Whitfield, African American male, 21 years of age, Valdosta resident, after he was identified as the offender in a residential burglary that happened in the 600 block of Way Street on January 28, 2014.

On September 27, 2013 officers and detectives responded to a residential burglary in progress in the 1400 block of Ricardo Street.  During the investigation the offender, identified as Sammie Phillips, African American male, 21 years of age, fled on foot.  Phillips has active arrest warrants for Burglary and Obstruction of an Officer.

On February 7, 2013 an arrest warrant for Theft by Taking Motor Vehicle was obtained on Emilio Perez, Hispanic male, 38 years of age, after he was identified as stealing a truck and trailer from the parking lot of Tractor Supply in the 1000 block of North St. Augustine Road.  Perez’s last known address was in Immokalee, Florida.

The Valdosta Police Department is asking the public to call law enforcement if they see or know the location of any of these individuals.
