Awww. This is so sad to hear. I live off of 84 but I’m not sure where this took place. I am so sorry to hear of a traffic accident and the fact that someone tried to help and they also lost their life. Crying…!

The nurse who stopped to help was a member of my church. Her name was Marty. It is so much like her to stop to help someone and exemplifies her character. She was loved much and will be missed tremendously.

Hi could your clarify two things, if first semi and car were heading east bound out of Valdosta , which direction was the second semi traveling that struck the first accident and the caring nurse? Was he also east bound or west?
The second question is the VDT stated 2 cars involved then today on their web pag had 6 vehicles how many were involved before law enforcement could get some lights out there for safety?
    Thanks
God bless the ladies family during this trying time! She was only trying to help someone in need as required by law if your a licensed nurse or physician and you see an accident!

Teresa Cason if you remember back in the old days when holiday markets were the majority of 7-11 stores in Ga it once was called that go out past raceway towards Thomasville and it’s the little 7-11 on the right with only like two gas pumps max! They usually sale gas cheaper than most ! Hope this helps you it’s out like going to WAAC but not near that far out!
Thanks and hope this tells you where it was! It’s so so that a car and semi have to collide then another either not paying attention or flying hit the lady trying to help and the car involved in first collision !!
