Storm Outages Continue to Stack Up Throughout North Georgia

Power Outage Graphic ATLANTA, GA – Winter Storm Pax has left many North Georgians without power.

According to Georgia Power around 237,000 of their customers were without power, 280,000 customers have had their power restored, and a total of 520,000 customers have lost power during the storm.

EMC, electric membership cooperatives, is reporting they have 145,000 customers with power, and they have restored 83,000 customer so far.

The numbers have been fluctuating as crews restore power and new outages are reported.
