| February 6, 2014

Fatherdaughter-danceVALDOSTA,GA – First Presbyterian Church of Valdosta will be hosting its 18th annual Father Daughter Dance on February 7 and 8 at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m at the James H. Rainwater Conference Center.

The Father Daughter Dance was created by Jeff Stewart in 1996 as a way to give back to his community and create and share special moments with his own daughters. He mirrored the idea of Jim Massery in keeping the cost to attend down by using ladies of the church and other volunteers to decorate, provide finger foods, and serve at the dance. The first dance was a success at 125 attendee’s and  in recent years the attendance has been exceptional toppling over 2,000.

Tickets are only available online and are $10.00 per person, to order tickets click here. The dance is open to all fathers/father figures and daughters. Make sure your dressed in your Sunday’s Best for the on-site photographer to capture your special moments.
