Thomasville Police Invest in Defibrillators

Defibrillator THOMASVILLE, GA – The Thomasville Police Department has invested in new tools to help save lives.

Each patrol car for the Thomasville Police Department now has an automated external defibrillator.The devices are intended to help police officers save lives at the scene before EMS arrives. The TPD police chief says it is a worthy investment.

The department bought the AED devices with money seized by the department. No tax money was used.
