2013 Run-off Election Results

voter vote georgia flag runoffVALDOSTA, GA – Yesterday voters took to the polls to vote in the run-off elections for 2013.

Don Sims and Roy Campbell faced off for the Thomasville City Council at large seat. Sims received 689 votes while Campbell, the incumbent, received 372 votes. Don Sims has won the Thomasville City Council Seat.

In Valdosta, Sandra J. Tooley and Calvin Graham went head to head for the Valdosta Distrcit 2 City Council seat after neither one received 51% of the vote in November. At last check, Tooley was ahead with 95 votes, 54.91%, and graham had 78 votes, 45.09%. Deb Cox, Supervisor of Elections for Lowndes County, says there are 22 provisional votes still to be counted, so official results will not be released until Friday at 10 a.m.
