Teen Arrested for Tift County High Bomb Threat

dynamite bomb threat TIFTON, GA – A teen in Tifton was arrested Tuesday, October 29th, for calling in a bomb threat at Tift County High School. Around 9:30 a.m. Tift County High School received a bomb threat via a phone call. Students were evacuated, and police were able to arrest 17 year old Orante Garmon around 2:30 p.m. Investigators traced the phone call back to Garmon while he was at school. Police say they will expect he will be charged with transmitting a false public alarm, which is a felony.
