250 Civilian Employees Furloughed at Moody AFB

Moody AFB - Air Force Base

Orders came down today from the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of the Air Force, and effective immediately, Moody Air Force Base has furloughed over half, 250 of 450, of its civilian employees.

These employees are in the areas of craft services, maintenance, administrative and more; areas not directly related to a national security mission.
