LCSO Asking For Help In Cold Case Murder

Lowndes County Police CarIt’s been nearly 18 months, and the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office is once again asking for the public’s help in solving a cold case murder. Stephon Edgerton was shot to death outside a radio station just before midnight on January 20th of last year.

The husband and father of three, a radio DJ at WGOV-FM, was shot three times outside his workplace.

Outside of the 911 call he made, officials say they still have no leads in the case. Anyone with any information about the case is asked to call 229-671-2985.
