Land O’Lakes To Donate 40K Pounds Of Food To Second Harvest

food-driveValdosta, GA- The dairy giant Land O’Lakes has announced it will donate over 40,000 pounds of product to the Second Harvest Food Bank of South Georgia. The Minnesota-based cooperative will roll into town Monday with a semi truck loaded with the donated food. arrive and be unloaded at our Valdosta warehouse.

The food will be utilized both the food bank’s Kids Café’ program and distributed to those in need through their network of partner agencies across South Georgia.

Officials at the food bank say the donation will help provide nearly 30,000 meals to children, families and seniors in need in our community.
