Braves Salvage Split Against Dodgers

turner field 1A strong outing from Mike Minor (8-2) propelled the Braves to a split of their 4-game series in Los Angeles despite dropping the first two games of the series. Minor gave up just one run over 6 innings, and the bullpen shut down the LA offense the rest of the way.

The Braves’ offense was led Sunday by Dan Uggla, who hit two home runs en route to an 8-1 victory. Atlanta’s west coast swing continues Monday against the Padres (10:10pm ET).
