Valdosta being selected speaks volumes about the quality of workforce available in our region,” said Andrea Schruijer, Executive Director Valdosta-Lowndes County Industrial Authority. “New jobs add to the city’s tax base, and boost local businesses.”

Express Scripts will host a job fair in the upcoming weeks where applicants will be interviewed. “This is the type of project that has zero environmental impact, represents a significant development of this community in these tough economic times. We must thank our great staff at the industrial authority and all of those that made key contributions to ensuring this project went to Lowndes County. That includes the state department of economic development, Georgia department of labor, and those who serve in city and county positions.” Roy Copeland, Chairman Valdosta-Lowndes County Industrial Authority.

The Industrial Authority has been involved in discussions with the company since November.
