One Critical In ATV Wreck Near Live Oak

lafayette wreckLive Oak, FL- A 24-year old is in critical condition after wrecking his ATV on NW Domingo Road on Sunday night. According to an FHP report, Manuel Hernandez was riding between two chicken houses in unincorporated Lafayette County when he jammed on the brakes to avoid two parked cars.

The abrupt stop threw him over the handlebars, causing him to hit his head on the pavement. Hernandez was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. As of Monday morning, he remains in critical condition at Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
