BAINBRIDGE, GA – Law enforcement officers descended on the sports complex at the Bainbridge Boat Basin Thursday looking for Isiah Perry.

Perry was accused in December 2011 of molesting a 15-year-old relative. On September 23, the victim gave birth to a child, and she claimed Perry was the father.

DNA evidence was collected from the victim, the baby and Isiah Perry and handed over to the GBI crime lab.┬áPaternity┬áresults were delivered Monday with a 99.9963 percentile, indicating that Perry is the child’s father.

The Decatur County Sheriff’s office took out warrants on Perry, and he was captured while trying to hid from police in the woods behind the sports complex. Dogs from the Apalachicola Correction Institute helped police track Perry to where he was hiding in a shallow ditch.
