Super Bowl Champ Umenyiora Signs With Falcons

falconsTwo-time Super Bowl champion Osi Umenyiora has agreed to a two-year deal with the Falcons, as Atlanta looked to replace defensive end John Abraham. The 31-year old’s deal $8.5 million, with a max value of $12 million, including $5 million guaranteed.

Umenyiora started just four games for the Giants in 2012, recording six sacks, 55 tackles, and one forced fumble. He set an NFL record with 10 forced fumbles in 2010 and a Giants record with six sacks in a 2007 win over Philadelphia.
