Lake City Woman Killed, Two Teens Injured In Wreck

shattered windshieldLake City, FL- A 35-year old Lake City woman is dead, and two teenagers remain in serious condition following an early Monday morning crash. A report from the Florida Highway Patrol states 35-year old Tamika Robinson lost control of her 2005 Ford Crown Victoria on US-90 around midnight Monday morning when she attempted to pass another vehicle. The wreck took place near the intersection of US-90 and NW Ridgewood Avenue in Lake City.

According to the FHP, the vehicle struck the curb, hit a crosswalk pole, then smashed into a number of vehicles in a used car lot. The Crown Vic flipped and ended up on its roof. The 35-year old woman was pronounced dead at the scene- 17-year old Shaquana Robinson and 13-year old Jamaya Suiter were airlifted to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, where they both remain in serious condition.
